Location: Surry Hills

Scope: Perched on top of the newly built Hutch and Hutch building, this client wanted to bring a slice of New York to their Sydney penthouse. To fit the brief, we constructed a timber decked area for guests to lounge around, a pergola covered in ornamental grapevine, and a corten steel barbeque for outdoor living. As the garden is north facing and exposed to harsh sun all day long, it was imperative to select hardy yet lush water-wise plants. Finished with garden lighting and a custom built pond swimming with coy, this space was transformed to offer liveability, durability and a modern feel.
