Scope: When asked to construct a garden surrounding a newly renovated Victorian home, we ensured that the form of the garden was consistent with the modern styling of the renovations. In doing this, we used bluestone paving to complement the internal polished concrete. As the kitchen looked out onto the garden, it was important that the courtyard was to be seamlessly tied into the rest of the house. To connect the two spaces, we kept all greenery on the perimeter of the courtyard, not blocking the line of sight.
